Skeptical of their chances considering y'all are scoring < 3 runs per game on the road. Worst offense in MLB. I don't care how much pitching you have.
Mets offense should be improved with additions, but it also desperately needed to be to contend. Not sure the offset will help them advance on but will be interesting to watch.

Stud Rookie Thor on the mound (3-0 with a 0.90 ERA and 11.40 strikeouts per nine innings over his past four games at Home, first Met to go eight innings in three straight home games since Al Leiter in 2001) vs. Jordan Zimmermann who is 5-0 with a 2.70 ERA in his last seven starts against the Mets - all ending in Washington wins.
Line Mets -117 looks like I feel about it, slight lean to Mets here bit mang The Sweep? To Reclaim #1 in the division? Versus the very team they're facing? On Sunday Night Baseball?
This alot of pressure on you guys.
I'd like the Under were it not for Torres possibly coming out the Bullpen.

For 98 games they had no offense and they are 1 game out of 1st place.....Now they just picked up 3 offensive players in Uribe,Johnson and Cespedes.
They will take the division....Just watch....Pitching has carried them for 98 games and look where they are with no offense......Now the offense has arrived.
Keep an eye on this thread for the next 58 games.
I don't doubt this, although Washington is very good as well so they won't make it easy.
Should be an interesting stretch.

I will be the 1st to say they had a horrid offense for 100 games.....Shutout 13 times.
With that said only 1 game out of the division....That means a lot.
Pitching is excellent.....Like I mentioned above getting those 3 players are going to help this team contend for the rest of the way.
I really see them over taking the Nats down the stretch.
Stay tuned....It should be a nice finish.
Good luck!
